FAQ

Q: When I download the install files for EASIWord, MathChat, or Puzzle I am getting a .HTM file or some other nonexecutable. How can I correct this?
A: Some older browsers and operating systems do not allow you to download Windows Installer Files (.msi). To get around this just right click the download link, click Save Target As, and rename the file as a .msi. For example if you were downloading EASIWord and getting EASIWord.htm, save it as EASIWord.msi instead.

Q: After attempting to update to a newer version of EASIWord or MathChat my installation crashed or failed to update.
A: Remove any old installations of the software before attempting to update. Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs to remove the old version.

Q: I used EASIWord with OFFICE 2010 Beta and now when I try to run it I get The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security...
A: 1. If the icon on your desktop named Shortcut to Install EASIWord has
been removed, download and run the installer again.
    2. Double click on the Icon. If the option to Remove EASIWord is
available, then remove EASIWord; otherwise go to step 3.
    3. Make sure no Office programs are running.
    4. In My Computer or using Windows Explorer, click on C:, Users, and
your user name. Click AppData, Roaming, Microsoft, and Forms.
    5. One or more files with the extension .exd should be visible. These are
cache files created by Office. Either delete the files or change their
        extension.
    6. Double click on the Shortcut to Install EASIWord on your desktop and
        Install EASIWord.
    7. Hopefully EASIWord is now working correctly.
